Interim Agency Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Interim Agency Manager to join a not-for-profit organisation based in Mandurah. This is a temporary 3–6 month contract offering a salary of $150,000 plus super (pro rata) for an experienced executive to provide strategic direction, strengthen governance, and lead the organisation through a period of transformation and commissioning readiness.

This role is ideal for an experienced leader from the community services or not-for-profit sector who can work closely with the Board, drive organisational change, and build strong partnerships across government and the community.

What you’ll be doing:

• Providing executive leadership and organisational stability
• Reporting to the Board and strengthening governance, policies, and operational frameworks
• Leading service model redesign and commissioning readiness initiatives
• Driving workforce capability, organisational change, and continuous improvement
• Improving data, reporting, and outcomes measurement
• Building partnerships with government, community organisations, and Aboriginal stakeholders
• Overseeing financial management, risk, compliance, and operational performance

What you’ll need:

• Senior executive leadership experience reporting to a Board
• Strong background in the not-for-profit or community services sector
• Experience leading organisational change and service improvement
• Knowledge of governance, risk, compliance, and safeguarding
• Experience in homelessness, youth services, or crisis accommodation (highly regarded)
• Strong financial, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
• Relevant tertiary qualification (desirable)
• Current Australian Federal Police Clearance
• Current WA Working with Children Check
• Current Australian working rights
• Current WA "C" Class Driver's Licence
