Office Manager

Well-rounded Office Manager role across governance, operations and community engagement, suited to someone confident supporting boards and stakeholder

Our client is a community-focused organisation working closely with Traditional Owners to support culturally appropriate governance, operations and engagement. Their work is guided by respect, strong relationships and a strong connection to community.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Coordinating board and committee processes, including agendas, papers and minutes
  • Supporting the General Manager and Board with reporting and compliance requirements
  • Managing day-to-day office operations, systems and supplier coordination
  • Providing high-level administrative support to leadership
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and staff coordination
  • Supervising staff and assisting with performance processes
  • Coordinating community meetings, consultations and stakeholder engagement
  • Ensuring all communication and interactions are handled in a culturally appropriate manner

What you’ll need:

  • Experience in an Office Manager or senior administrative role with governance / board exposure
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Clear, confident communication skills across a range of stakeholders
  • Experience supporting or supervising staff
  • Financial administration experience (budgets, procurement or reporting)
  • A high level of discretion when handling sensitive matters
  • Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
  • Understanding of, or willingness to learn, cultural protocols and governance structures
