Our client is seeking an experienced Operational HR Generalist to join their growing team. This is a full-time, hands-on role supporting managers and employees across a diverse healthcare organisation operating within the Aged Care, Disability, Community Services and Healthcare Staffing sectors.

This role suits an experienced HR professional who enjoys working across the full employee lifecycle, providing practical HR advice, managing recruitment and onboarding, and ensuring compliance in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and employee inductions
  • Providing advice and support on employee relations, performance management and workplace matters
  • Preparing employment contracts, variations and HR documentation
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
  • Ensuring compliance with Fair Work legislation, Modern Awards and company policies
  • Coordinating probation reviews, performance reviews and employee development initiatives
  • Supporting workforce planning and HR reporting
  • Assisting with policy development and continuous improvement of HR processes
  • Working closely with managers to build a positive workplace culture
  • Supporting HR projects and organisational initiatives as required

What you'll need:

  • Previous experience in an HR Generalist or HR Advisor role
  • Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and Modern Awards
  • Experience managing recruitment and employee relations matters
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline
  • Experience within healthcare, aged care, disability, community services or another highly regulated industry will be highly regarded
