General Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially driven General Manager to lead Mining, Civil and Integrated Services operations across the Pilbara. Based in Perth with a 4:3 FIFO roster, this senior leadership role reports directly to the Executive Director and offers the opportunity to drive operational performance, business growth and strategic delivery across multiple business units.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading Mining, Civil and Integrated Services operations across the Pilbara
• Driving operational performance, profitability and continuous improvement
• Managing project delivery, budgets, forecasting and financial outcomes
• Supporting commercial, contract, fleet and mobilisation activities
• Building strong client, stakeholder and site leadership relationships
• Leading and mentoring high-performing operational and commercial teams
• Supporting workforce planning, resource allocation and business growth
• Monitoring performance and implementing operational improvements
• Supporting Indigenous engagement and community partnerships

What you’ll need:

• Minimum 15+ years FIFO mining industry experience
• Tertiary qualifications or relevant professional experience in Mining, Engineering, Civil or Commercial Management
• Senior leadership experience across General Management, Operations or Commercial roles
• Proven success managing large-scale mining and multi-site operations
• Strong commercial, P&L and stakeholder management capability
• Experience across both Mining and Integrated Services environments
• Strong leadership, governance and risk management skills
• Hands-on, resilient and commercially focused leadership style
