Lineworker

Our client is seeking a full-time Lineworker to join their team in the Perth Northern Suburbs.

This hands-on, field-based role is responsible for inspecting street lighting and overhead powerline assets across the northern Perth metro area in line with Western Power standards. You’ll be working outdoors, leading small crews, and ensuring high-quality inspections and accurate reporting using a supplied iPad.

What you’ll be doing:

• Conducting inspections on streetlights and overhead powerline assets, identifying defects, faults, and compliance issues
• Completing accurate inspection reports and documentation on a Western Power-supplied iPad
• Leading small crews to achieve daily inspection targets
• Working safely and efficiently outdoors, moving from pole to pole each day

What you’ll need:

• Western Power street light system maintenance ticket (essential)
• Previous experience as a linesman
• Strong knowledge of overhead electrical distribution and street light assets
• Competent in using electrical tools and inspection equipment
• Valid driver’s licence
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors regularly
