Accounts Payable Officer

Our client is seeking a detail-focused Accounts Payable Officer to join their team based in Hazelmere. This is a full-time role starting on a temporary basis with a strong opportunity to transition to permanent for the right candidate. This role is for an immediate start. 

This position is best suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and must have solid previous experience handling high-volume accounts payable data entry. You’ll be working within a busy finance team processing a large number of invoices daily, so speed, accuracy, and a solid understanding of Accounts Payable processes is essential.

What you’ll be doing:

• Processing a high volume of invoices (700–1000 per week across the team)
• Performing accurate and efficient data entry of invoice information
• Supporting the accounts payable function end-to-end
• Ensuring all invoices are processed in line with company procedures
• Assisting the wider team to meet daily and weekly processing targets

What you’ll need:

• Proven experience in high-volume accounts payable
• Must be available for an immediate start
• Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Understanding of the accounts payable process
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly
• Reliable, team-focused, and committed to meeting deadlines
