Our client is seeking an experienced Logistics Officer / Expeditor to join their team in a full-time capacity. This role will be responsible for coordinating the movement, storage, and distribution of materials and finished products to support efficient day-to-day workshop and operational activities.

This position will suit someone who is highly organised, proactive, and confident managing inventory, freight coordination, supplier communication, and logistics documentation within a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Monitoring inventory levels and conducting stock audits
  • Coordinating incoming deliveries, storage, packaging, and shipments
  • Managing freight bookings, transport schedules, and supplier deliveries
  • Maintaining accurate shipping, inventory, and logistics documentation
  • Tracking shipments and resolving delivery or supply chain issues
  • Liaising with suppliers, transport providers, and internal stakeholders
  • Supporting warehouse organisation and efficient material flow
  • Generating logistics reports and identifying process improvements
  • Ensuring compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements
  • Conducting regular inspections of logistics areas and equipment

What you’ll need:

  • Previous experience in logistics, inventory control, warehouse coordination, or supply chain operations
  • Experience coordinating freight, shipments, and supplier deliveries within a workshop or manufacturing environment
  • Strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proficiency with logistics systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with inventory management systems and stock control practices
  • Understanding of quality control procedures and workplace health and safety requirements
  • A qualification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is desirable
  • Formal Work Health and Safety training, First Aid and CPR Certificate, Manual Handling Certification, and Forklift Operator Licence are advantageous
  • Current WA Driver’s Licence
  • Full working rights in Australia
