Accounts Payable Officer

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their team based in Malaga on a 3-month temporary basis, with opportunity for the role to turn permanent. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role manages the end-to-end AP function while also supporting general office administration and handling incoming enquiries.

This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys a busy finance environment with a mix of accounts and administration duties.

What you’ll be doing:

• End-to-end accounts payable processing including invoices, payments and purchase orders
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
• Maintaining accurate supplier records
• Managing approval workflows and eDocs processes
• Handling head office phone enquiries
• Supporting general office administration and supplies coordination
• Assisting with ad hoc finance and admin tasks

What you’ll need:

• Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Officer or Finance Administration role
• Strong understanding of AP processes and reconciliations
• Experience with accounting software (Greentree highly regarded)
• Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping or higher
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident communication and customer service approach
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills
