Data Entry and Accounts Payable Officer

Our client is seeking an experienced Data Entry / Accounts Payable Officer to join their team based in South Guildford. This is a full-time Monday to Friday position working 8:30am – 4:30pm, offering an immediate start with the opportunity to transition from temporary to permanent employment for the right candidate.

This role will suit someone who thrives in a high-volume processing environment, has exceptional data entry accuracy, and possesses a solid understanding of accounts payable processes.

What you’ll be doing:

• Processing high volumes of invoices
• Performing accurate and efficient data entry across accounts payable functions
• Managing invoice processing in accordance with established procedures
• Reviewing and verifying invoice information to ensure accuracy
• Identifying discrepancies and assisting with issue resolution
• Supporting end-to-end accounts payable processes
• Working with internal systems including QAD and Universe
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring data integrity

What you’ll need:

• Proven experience in Accounts Payable with a strong understanding of end-to-end accounts payable processes
• Demonstrated experience processing high volumes of invoices accurately and efficiently
• Exceptional data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong numerical aptitude and ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Experience using QAD and/or Universe would be advantageous
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Full working rights in Australia
